North Country Overhead Door is a family-owned shop based in Bagley. Three generations of our family have spent their careers fixing, installing, and selling garage doors and dock equipment across northern Minnesota.
It started in 1997, when Kurt set out with a truck, a set of tools, and a simple idea: do the job right, treat people fairly, and show up when you say you will. Nearly thirty years later, that idea hasn’t moved an inch, even as the company has grown to three generations deep.
We’ve replaced springs in twenty-below wind chill, with fingers too cold to feel the wrench. We’ve hung new doors for homeowners in Bemidji and installed dock levelers for warehouses in Grand Rapids. We have seen towns changing and seasons have come and gone year after year. Through all of it, we’ve stayed the same kind of company: local, hands-on, and accountable for every job that carries our name.
